Diabetes Symtoms Questions?

Im asking this questio because im concerend and dont want to end up getting Diabetes. I have an addiction to Sherbert Ice Cream resulting in me eating mive ammounts in a short period of time on the weekedns. I would say a few gallons a weekend and this has been going on for some time . The sherbert is mainly my only sweeet i eat because i dont eat candy much its rare if i eat candy and from times to time i buy kettle korn from my farmers market every now and then .. I just want to know would there be signs of diabetes before going to the doctors and being diagnosed ? and what dp some of you suggest i do to lower my chances while still doing what i do every now and then ? I go to the gym 3 times a week and drink mostly water besides a few diner plates i like to have some fruit juice with . Can some one help me ? ive been thinking and worrying about that for some time and want to find some peace with this .

i have the exact same thing, and my scope kept falling off, i don't have any names for you(sry) but anything small, and sturdy. You should be able to find one easy for under 100. I would look at getting someone(who knows what they are doing) to possibly spot weld it onto the pellet gun. with the break down barrel it tends to get knocked around a bit more than just a regular load. sorry i couldn't be more help. and if it is remanufactured there should be nothing wrong with it.

Strict Vegetarian Thanksgiving in a VERY southern home?

My husband and I are strict vegetarians for health and ethical reasons. We mainly eat organic produce and the occional organic dairy item. We do not consume anything from animals such as chicken broth, gelatin, ect. and tend to consume a lot of vegan items. My issue is that we have been invited to an out of state ( 13 hours away) southern style, traditional, formal thanksgiving. The hostess is my hubbys grandmother who we have not seen in years. She is a very strict, almost mean lady and to be honest kinda scary. The last time I was at her home, she got VERY mad at me, and that was the first time I met her. We have informed her of our dietary issues. Im not so sure she took to kindly to the news. Now my question is that we have already RSVP'd ( in order to be with family with have not seen in YEARS), and Im not sure if we should bring our own food to prepare, or prepare something at a hotel or eat something before going. I mean, I could adjust anything we make to be meat eater friendly ( as in no tofu or anything considered weird). I just dont want to disrupt Thanksgiving by offending her or anyone else. You have to take the plastic covers off. The plugs are underneath. Those are either torxe screws or hex screws . If they are shaped like a star inside they are the torxe screws. Get a set at pepboys for 5 bucks. Newer jimmys like yours do not have a distributor. The have whats called a DIS ignition system! D- stands for distributeless I-Ignition S-system. Instead of a distributor they use a coil pack that fires two cylinders at a time. I would explain but it would take awhile. Check your oil. If your oil level is ok just put the cap back on. Your valve cover is under a vacuum so at worst your engine had a slight vacuum leak with the cap off

My older sister and I have never really gotten along. When we were kids she was really mean to me and a very angry person. I never understood it but I always knew it was because our mother left us and our dad remarried. Most of the time she directed her hate towards me. Although, I was not an angel and would say mean things back to her when she picked on me, I was hurt that she could treat me like pure crap. Then to everyone else she acted sweet and loving including our step-mom and half brother's and sister's. She made it look like I was the devil that always started things when it was actually the other way around. Now that we're older I've started to go through some of the the same feelings of betrayal and anger towards our family but she doesn't understand. She thinks I'm ungrateful and it's my own fault I'm unhappy and I deserve it. For example, I was engaged when I got pregnant and she voiced her disapproval about me not being married first. She said I was too young and I was wrong. She later told me she had an abortion around the same time and although I was shocked, I didn't criticize her or tell her that she was wrong. I just feel like she still treats me nasty when we talk on the phone and she really doesn't act interested. Sometimes she'll tell me she hasn't called because she "lost" my phone number (she's told me that several times). But I noticed that she had put my half brother's and half sister's cell numbers in her phone but not mine? We live in different states so we don't see each other much and I always make an effort to go visit her. But she makes no effort and when I do visit she treats me like crap and complains about how my son is out of control because he acted out in public and got embarred. Yet her daughter is an angel (not really) in her eyes. I also noticed she calls me when she's on break at work and is short with me and acts like she has no time to talk to me, yet she visits our family every week. It's like she respects those that have wronged her in the past (including our dad) more than the person that has never really done anything to her (me). My family even stopped talking to me because she over reacted about something my husband jokingly said to her husband. It was about a joke our father had said about her husband and I had once mentioned it to my husband. Did I know my husband would do something like that? No, but it wasn't a big deal and then next thing I know my dad kicks me out of the house because of that and because my sister was angry at me. My dad and my family didn't talk to me for 3 years but my sister called and said she wanted to stay in contact only for the sake of our children. I feel betrayed by her because she caused the tension between me and my dad but acts like she did nothing wrong and now wonders why I dislike him. She's more on their side, against me, than with me. I always wondered why it was that I couldn't be happy when she wasn't happy.I'm thinking maybe we shouldn't talk anymore because she's doesn't have time for me and calls me only when she feels guilty for not talkinig to me for awhile or she's really bored at work. And I'm getting tired of her calling me stupid or dumb when I tell her personal things. Really what should I do?

MLA research paper: letters or numerals?

In my paper, I'm trying to write 771,000. I'm told that in MLA, you should write numbers out if you can do it in two words, and otherwise you should use numerals. I'm also advised to use a combination of letters and numerals if the numbers are very large, however: 7 hundred and 71 thousand just doesn't feel right. That bit of the sentence goes, "particularly since the loss of 7 hundred and 71 over the winter of 2008-09". Can someone who knows these things tell me if I've done it right, and should stick to it, or if they would advise something else? It would be greatly appreciated!

Well she needs to eat heathy. Eat lots of protein. That keeps you full when eating little. And if you want a snack make your own heathy ones. You can look it up online. But my snacks are nuts fruits or healthy snacks. Like special Kay. There a company that makes healthy stuff. One of my favorite snacks is a banana rolled in yogurt and with my favorite crushed cereal on it. I like it frozen or you could just put it in the fridge. She needs to work out and stay determined. If she really wants to loss weight she needs to push herself. Im a soccer player and it can be really hard but if you stay positive and determined and tell yourself you can do and just push yourself you can do it. It's painful but worth it. She can do it. Encourage her. Look up some healthy snacks. Do activities with her to help her threw it. Push her if you have to. How this helped.

Mandatory Service idea?

a two year national service commitment would do much to improve our citizens and make them appreciate this country more IMO. It would also give them time to grow up and actually think as an adult when they begin making the decisions that will affect them the remainder of their lives. I'd allow those who volunteer to enter the military services with better incentives than those who want to do non-military service. Those not joining the military could do public works, mail sorting and delivery and other government and quas--govermental jobs that this country needs donw but now pays too much to get done. They should only go on to college after this two year service because mosy that go younger do not apply themselves and get the education they should from a university so lots of time is wasted by students, universities and our society.

I would first like to know when was the late water change? Do you vaccuum the gravel when changing water? Too much waste products in a tank can cause your fish not to eat. Uneaten food in the tank will decay and also make your fish sick. When vaccuuming the gravel, notice how much debris is being sucked out. I think shrimp should be given in very small portions. Live fish is nice, so you should have a small tank set up just for feeders( 10 gal. is ok.) You can also medicate the feeders before you feed them to your fish. Good luck.

Plugged ears for 5 days?

I've had a bad cold for about a week and a half now. I went to Urgent Care and was put on "Z Pack". I just took my last dose yesterday morning. I feel 100% better, even though I do have a cough with quite a bit of mucus. I went back to the doctor on Sunday because my ears were very plugged up. He told me that my cold was progressing into Bronchitis. He prescribed me some Claratin 10mg, which did not help what so ever for the ears. I went to the drug store yesterday and bought a steam vapor humidifier, and bought some Sudafed PE, day and night. This morning when I woke up, my ears were almost 100% unclogged. Now that I've been moving around and up for about an hour or so, they're plugged up again. Sounds like something is wrong? I'm a little bit confused, because I would ume that my ears would be plugged up during the night and not during the day. I've tried everything and they won't pop. I'm thinking I might have to go back to Urgent Care or possibly the ER. Any sugesstions?

1997 Jetta 2.0L with an automatic transmission has 99,000 miles on it. Going into reverse it is fine, but when it is switched to drive there is a delay going into gear. When going forward from a stop, you need to give it gas before it will move. Before it moves, it "bangs" going into gear. From there it is fine, except when shifting from 2nd to 3rd it "bangs" again. One time, with light throttle application, the Jetta shifted normally all the way into drive gear. Even though no "check engine" light was illuminated, there were several "knock sensor" codes stored (00577, 00578, 00579, 00580, & 00524). The codes were cleared and have not yet returned. This Jetta idles perfectly and seems to have plenty of power. Some sources have recommended "Throttle Basic Setting" procedure. We have not been able to figure out a way to do this with our Snap On Modis.

They may get used to each others scent and the idea of being near each other without hurting each other. You could get a cat enclosure and put it by a window so you'll have a cat door so that one can enjoy the smells and sights of the outdoors while the other one enjoys your company and the house. You could have them take turns this way so you don't have to live with the stress of them fighting. I commend you for trying keeping them. I am looking for a solution for my cats--I got a 9month old who I have had for a month, and she and my 7 year old neutered male do not get along. I am having her spayed next month and hope it will help. I notice she is more aggressive during her heat. Mating rituals for cats are aggressive. Indoor cats can go into heat year around and as often as every 2 or 3 weeks. I have heard about giving cats sedatives or anti-depressants for the aggressor or use Feliway. Also, try putting vanilla extract on the bases of their tails and between their ears to mask fearful pheromones. Put it on both cats so they will both smell the same. I tried the vanilla extract and the Feliway. It helps some, but it is inconvenient. I sometimes forget to put the vanilla on them and wonder why they are being so horrid to one another. Vanilla extract is cheaper. Feliway works for some cats and not others. Give them treats when they are ignoring each other. Try to distract the friendly cat with a toy when it goes up to the hateful cat. The hateful cat would just be glad not to have him in her space.

Problem with wii remotes?

First of all, I've switched batteries probably 3 times... and nothing seems to help it. The console boots up as normal and doesn't seem to have signs of difficulties, but BOTH my wii controls will not respond, I've tried syncing, battery switching, unpulgging the wii, hit the backside of the controller, nothing will help it. The blue lights that normal signify which player you will be and show that the wii remote is working are completely offline, they will not light up at all. They basically just won't respond. How do I go about fixing them? Do I have to send them to nintendo? My controllers are about 1year old but have never been too mistreated or damaged. I've never previously had this problem, any help is much appreciated. I look forward to your replies.

Hi, I have really oily skin and large pores and have been researching new products to use to improve it. I changed my cleanser from a No.7 (Boots) creamy cleanser to Biore Pore Perfect Oil-Free Ice Cleanser, and changed my moisturizer from Simple Hydrating Light Moisturizer to Biore Pore Perfect Shine Control Moisturizer. I have also used Olay's Regenerist Microdermabrasion & Peel Kit once, and I have started to wear Philosophy The Present Clear Make-up underneath Bare Essentials foundation & mineral veil. The oiliness of my skin has improved and the pores on my nose look more refined but now I'm getting sore, red, dry, flaky patches on my cheeks and around my mouth! Is this just a reaction to the skincare routine change, or are the new products actually harming my skin? What should I do - stick with the new oil-free routine or go back to my old routine? Or compromise?! Sorry for rambling but it's driving me crazy - I can't seem to get the balance right! Please help - thanks a lot!

Installing an Automatic Transfer Switch?

I'd like to install a standby generator to power all of my home's circuits. I have a 200A service. I am going to need to have the meter pulled, so I can pull the service conductors out of the main panel and into an automatic transfer switch. Is it okay to have the service conductors run through this transfer switch non-fused before entering the main panel, or do I have need to have a Service Disconnect breaker installed upstream of the transfer switch. I.e., replacing the entire meter enclosure with one that is equipped with a 200A service breaker, or alternatively, finding a standalone Service Disconnect breaker in an enclosure mounted alongside the transfer switch, with the service conductors routed through that prior to entering the transfer switch? I was just worried because, if the service conductors traveled through the transfer switch upstream of the Main Breaker, if there was a fault in the transfer switch, the only current limiting device would be from the utility pole, which is likely thousands of Amperes. Seems crazy to me, but I don't know what's considered the norm for this kind of installation. Thanks

Things have actually gotten better for me. Pluto in Sag was going through my 9th and 10th houses and had reset my career. I've never had issues with change, and tend not to resist changes in my life, so I actually benefited from it. Same with Pluto in Capricorn. I just go with the flow and I seem to benefit from it. I was ready to go into this Pluto cycle, and it didn't really bother me much. Pluto is in my 7th, so some of my relationships have been realigned. It was much needed, and I just accepted it because the ones that went south were unhealthy relationships anyway. Pluto is uncomfortable for most people, people who are fixed in their ways and unwilling to change. But change has been part of my life for ever, so I've just learned to go with it. I think that is the key to dealing with/coping with Pluto. But my NN in Pisces encourages me to accept things too, and that's all part of it.

I've been bugging my friend to take a pregnancy test because she hasn't had her periods since December, but she said they have been very irregular before then, she went to the doctors in February and the test her then and it came up negative anyway. When puberty starts(not when you get your first period but when it actually starts) you gain a lot of weight because that is when you are going to grow the most. as you start to grow that weight doesn't necessarily come off but you shoot up and your chubbiness goes away. which is probably why you got much thinner. the fact that eating is a chore does indicate an eating disorder and even though you think it is not intentional, subconsciously you are think that you look a lot better now and don't want to get that pudginess back so your brain tells you that eating will make it come back. you like the attention, everybody does, and you think that your more beautiful because other people are reaction to the way that you look. the reality is that you were probably just as beautiful before but younger and at that age boys don't really pay a lot of attention. they are reacting because they are older and more into girls now not because you are thinner. continue making yourself eat. you can't starve yourself if your eating 3 meals a day. exercising to stay thin and eating healthy will keep you at the proper weight for your body type and will give you the same confidence and attention that you have now.

2006 jeep commander airbag light?

I have a 2006 Jeep Commander 3.7. The airbag warning light in the instrument cluster has been coming on recently. It takes about 15 minutes of driving before the light will illuminate. Once the Jeep is turned off and restarted the light goes off and will not return for another 15 minutes. This is NOT the penger airbag off light, its the normal airbag sensor light that comes on for a few seconds when starting the car. Any ideas what this could be?

I don't think you've written your code correctly. Remember, index is declared outside of the first while loop, but is incremented inside BOTH while loops. And although the outer while loop carefully checks and exits if you reach the end of the string, the inner while loop does NOT. So, if the last character of the string is anything other than '|', the inner while loop will enter properly, increment index up to the length of the string, then when it tries to check its loop condition with index==all.length() it will try to access a character past the end of the string, whereupon Java throws an exception. One simple way to fix this would be to put the same length check in the outer while loop into the inner while loop as well, orred with the existing condition.

Different conception question?

Maybe I should rephrase the question. Like I said I am 31 weeks pregnant and I was reading a question on here a girl posted about when do we think she conceived. And answer she had received stated that if the dr told her she was 6 weeks pregnant, that really means she is 8 weeks pregnant. I know they go by the date of your last period but say the first day of my last period was the first week of april. That is 7 weeks ago. The dr would tell me that Im 7 weeks pregnant but would that mean (according to that answer I read) that Im really 9 weeks pregnant? When they calculate it, does it mean you got pregnant before your last period or after your last period? Im just curious. Thanks for your answers!!!

Unstable countries like Iraq for example with all those different ethnic tribes that want to kill each other unfortunately worked better under a dictatorship because the government then has the authority to prevent domestic problems through arbitrary arrests of "potential troublemakers" spying on residents and not have to go through the warrant process. That way residents are intimidated from attempting anything and tranquility is maintained. Or some countries in Africa would benefit from a dictatorship because they have sever shortages in agriculture and resources that the need of an iron fist to control resource consumption would be necessary to prevent famine or shortages. That way they don't have to worry about corporations making irresponsible decisions in consumption of resources that endanger all citizens. It sounds effective in theory but unfortunatly its human nature that one can't resist the hidden desire to misuse their power. Thats why such governments have often become oppressive and have failed to effectivly solve problems that would of been solved by that government in theory.

I was always aware of the world's hateful people, but it doesn't aggravate me. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE has different personalities and I ociate with nice people, such as my family, best friends, and the people we meet while together. We are REALLY social and optimistic, therefore, meeting numerous people and making a lot of friends with likewise personalities. If they prove to be mean, we avoid them and stick with the nicer ones and continue to enjoy our lives. Girl, you have to realize not everyone can behave how you would like them to, unless, you invented a mind-control device, lol. Remember, the news makes the world seem like EVERYTHING in is evil while really, people on focus on the negative parts. The news rarely report anything positive. With those numbers, however, we can't get a second mortgage because while our credit is good and we have no outstanding debts, we have too high of a debt-to-income ratio. The man who sold us our house, has offered to sell us the neighborhing duplex with no money down. We would lease the house and it would remain in his name, and we would maintain it and collect the rent and choose the tenants.... until we could start paying the mortgage ourselves and then take over the mortgage someday. The duplex rents for $500 a side (or $1000 total), and he says we can pay him $500/mo and keep $500/mo. We would also have the advantage of choosing our neighbors and ensuring a good neighborhood, which is a BIG PLUS. Is this a good plan?
