Why do some people look down on immigrants when these very critics are ignorant and illiterate?

Dont worry, we get many ignorant Americans moving to our country & acting all "superior & important" even though THEY are the immigrants. But we just laugh at them, they don't realise what a bad name they themselves have everywhere else for such behaviour. I don't think that answers your question sorry but just had to point it out.
