Plugged ears for 5 days?

I've had a bad cold for about a week and a half now. I went to Urgent Care and was put on "Z Pack". I just took my last dose yesterday morning. I feel 100% better, even though I do have a cough with quite a bit of mucus. I went back to the doctor on Sunday because my ears were very plugged up. He told me that my cold was progressing into Bronchitis. He prescribed me some Claratin 10mg, which did not help what so ever for the ears. I went to the drug store yesterday and bought a steam vapor humidifier, and bought some Sudafed PE, day and night. This morning when I woke up, my ears were almost 100% unclogged. Now that I've been moving around and up for about an hour or so, they're plugged up again. Sounds like something is wrong? I'm a little bit confused, because I would ume that my ears would be plugged up during the night and not during the day. I've tried everything and they won't pop. I'm thinking I might have to go back to Urgent Care or possibly the ER. Any sugesstions?
