Is it possible to have a eating disorder without it being intentional?
When puberty starts(not when you get your first period but when it actually starts) you gain a lot of weight because that is when you are going to grow the most. as you start to grow that weight doesn't necessarily come off but you shoot up and your chubbiness goes away. which is probably why you got much thinner. the fact that eating is a chore does indicate an eating disorder and even though you think it is not intentional, subconsciously you are think that you look a lot better now and don't want to get that pudginess back so your brain tells you that eating will make it come back. you like the attention, everybody does, and you think that your more beautiful because other people are reaction to the way that you look. the reality is that you were probably just as beautiful before but younger and at that age boys don't really pay a lot of attention. they are reacting because they are older and more into girls now not because you are thinner. continue making yourself eat. you can't starve yourself if your eating 3 meals a day. exercising to stay thin and eating healthy will keep you at the proper weight for your body type and will give you the same confidence and attention that you have now.
