Speeding ticket with LIDAR! should i go to court?

always go to cour on this type of summons/what is lidar?? how does it estimate the speed/say to judge that what is exact speed/ask for confirmation on the unit he used/ask cop why he didnt stop any one else as you were only keeping with traffic//i never heard of lidar/and estimated speed/what is that estimated/
