Simile for math? Math is like.....?

I have to illustrate and write a simile for math. Not like math is like a rock its hard. Some thing like what my teacher said (math is like a banana peel if you dont watch your step you will slip and fall) Something like that or like math is like baseball if you try hard you can hit a homerun. Help please? Something that would be easy to draw out also.
